A "lot" type asset refers to a group of identical items that do not require individual barcoding. By following the instructions provided, users can streamline asset management tasks, improving both organization and operational efficiency.
Navigating the Asset Tree
After logging into Transcendent, click into the Main Menu and search for Asset Tree menu option.
When the Asset Tree Loads, click into the Search Bar and type in "Lot" to display a current listing of all Lot type assets in the database.
To see a list of current ASSETS added to your site as "Lots" click into the Asset Tree column header and type in "Lot"
Adding a New Lot Type Asset
To add in a new Lot type asset, find it in the tree and select it. Click the plus icon button.
In the pop-up window, give your new asset a Description, Asset ID and ensure the Types are correct. Click Save.
In the new window, scroll down to the Asset By Lot section and fill out as much information as required. The quantity is important and represents the number of items this asset will cover. In this example, 250 different safes.
Once you fill out the details, click "Save and Exit"
The asset you created will now appear on the asset tree list. Repeat the process for any additional Lot Assets.
