Overview
List Type Questions enables Administrators to configure questions, within an Inspection, to allow Engineers to list all relevant information related to the specification of the question, (e.g.: Do not disturb (DND) room listing.). This ensures data consistency and simplifies the inspection process.
How to Configure List Type Questions
- Navigate to Inspection Setup: Navigate to Work > Work Configuration > Manage Inspection, click the Add New + icon under the Inspection section to set up a new inspection.
- Details: An Inspection ID and Description is required.
- Add New Question: Under the Question section, click the "Add New +” icon to access the question repository to select an existing List question, or Click “Add New +” in the repository to create a new question.
- Question Type: After creating your question in the Question Details > Question section, select the "Question Type > List" in the dropdown menu.
- Answer Details:
- Click the Add New + icon to enter the answer choice for its applicable list (e.g., Question 1. Rooms marked DND. / Question 2. Rooms not marked DND).
- Assign specific scores or weights to each option if required for reporting.
- Save: Click Save Question to add it to the template.
Leveraging List Questions for Inspections
- Efficiency: Inspectors can quickly type in responses for all relevant assets related to the question, speeding up evaluation times.
- Automated Triggers: Use List responses to automatically generate Work Orders or notifications based on specific "fail" selections.
