How to Execute Room Preventive Maintenance (RPM)

The Hook: Follow this process to perform comprehensive guest room inspections, record deficiency data, and ensure room quality standards.

Prerequisites:

• You must be physically present in the guest room.

The Steps:

1. Launch the Transcendent Mobile app and locate the assigned RPM work order.

2. Scan the Room QR Code upon entry to start the work timer.

3. Tap the inspection line item to open the RPM Checklist.

4. Enter required readings for temperatures, pressures, and air flow.

5. Mark items requiring repair or replacement as "Fail" or "No" to trigger follow-up actions.

    ◦ Note: If you are a qualified "Expert RPM" user, you may use the Section Mode or Complete Inspection button to auto-fill passing scores for remaining items.

6. Ensure the total calculated work time meets the minimum requirement (typically 15 minutes).

7. Tap Stop Work and scan the QR code upon exiting the room.

8. Tap Complete to submit the RPM.

The Result: The room status updates in the system. If the "General Cleaning" attribute is enabled, a follow-up General Clean work order may automatically generate for Housekeeping.
