The Hook: Map specific GXP locations to Transcendent assets to ensure that when a GXP ticket is pushed to Engineering, it automatically attaches to the correct asset (e.g., "Room 101") rather than just a generic location.
Prerequisites:
• The GXP Integration must be active.
• GXP locations must already exist in the Transcendent Location Master (created automatically by the integration).
The Steps:
1. Navigate to Configuration > Site Management > Manage Locations.
2. Locate the GXP location in the list.
◦ Note: GXP locations are identified by a checkmark in the External column.
3. Click the Edit icon next to the location.
4. Click the Map To Asset button.
5. Search for and locate the corresponding Transcendent Asset (e.g., The Guestroom Asset for Room 101).
6. Click the Green Arrow beside the asset to select it.
7. Click Save.
The Result: Future GXP work orders for this location will automatically populate the Asset ID and Asset Description fields in Transcendent.
