The Hook: Use this workflow to enable the two-way interface between Marriott's GXP (Empower) system and Transcendent. This allows Work Orders created in GXP to automatically generate Work Requests in Transcendent.
Prerequisites:
• Franchise Hotels: Must contact support@transcendent.ai to configure the interface backend before starting these steps.
• Managed Hotels: Can proceed directly to Step 1.
• Access to GXP with Property Admin permissions.
The Steps:
1. Log in to your GXP software.
2. Navigate to the Home Tab, select Accounts, then select Property Accounts from the drop-down list.
3. Click on your property’s Account Name hyperlink.
4. Locate the Transcendent Active checkbox in the Account Detail section.
5. Double-click the field to activate editing, then check the Transcendent Active box,.
6. (Multi-Property Only): If your Transcendent setup processes work for multiple hotels under one MARSHA code, edit the Transcendent MARSHA field to match the code receiving tasks.
7. Click Save.
The Result: The connection is active. Work orders created in GXP will now automatically create Work Requests in Transcendent.
