The Hook: Follow these steps to print QR codes for your physical equipment. These codes are scanned by mobile users to verify proof-of-presence during maintenance.
Prerequisites:
• Assets must already exist in the system with an Asset ID.
• A standard printer (for paper) or label printer (for adhesive labels).
The Steps:
1. Navigate to Assets > Asset Management > Print Barcodes.
2. To Print a Single Barcode:
◦ Click into the Asset ID field and type the ID.
◦ Click Add or press Enter.
3. To Print Multiple Barcodes:
◦ Click the Add button to open the selection grid.
◦ Check the boxes next to the target assets (or use the Select All Rows icon).
◦ Click Apply to add them to the print list.
4. Hover over the Printer Icon to select your output format:
◦ Select Barcode Generate for standard paper.
◦ Select Label Options if using specific label sheet stock.
5. Click Print.
The Result: A printable file is generated containing the QR codes and Asset IDs for the selected items.
