The Hook: Use the Setup Wizard for rapid data entry when setting up a new site or adding large batches of equipment. This tool allows you to input data from printable setup sheets.
Prerequisites:
• Asset Types must be established in the system.
The Steps:
1. Navigate to Configuration > Site Management > Setup Wizard.
2. Select an Asset Category from the Asset Tree section on the left.
3. In the grid, locate the specific Point Type (e.g., Split System AC).
4. Enter the total quantity of assets in the QTY On Site column.
◦ Note: If you do not have this asset type, check the Do Not Have box.
5. Click Input Data to open the Add Asset window.
◦ New Feature: You can use the Create Assets button to bulk-generate temporary assets based on the quantity entered.
6. Enter the required information (Description, Location) for each asset row.
◦ Note: Asset ID, Manufacturer, and Model are no longer mandatory fields during this step.
7. Click Edit to add Safety Notes if applicable.
8. Click Save to apply the changes.
The Result: The progress bar for "Priority Point Type" increases, and the assets are added to the system database.
