TR: ALICE <> Transcendent Integration

Overview:

Hoteliers are facing challenges in coordinating the various digital tools used to manage their hotels. They require integrated solutions, actionable data, and seamless cross-department communication to meet their guests' growing expectations. Transcendent Rooms, a product by Actabl, addresses these needs by connecting Transcendent Engineering (PM) and ALICE Housekeeping, facilitating efficient collaboration between departments.

Product Highlights:

Real-time Work Creation: Room Attendants can easily create work requests for the Engineering department using their housekeeping app.
Status Tracking: Room Attendants can monitor the status of assigned work, including the assigned technician's information.
Work Order Details: 'Room Status' and 'Front Office Status' are displayed for all Transcendent Work Orders related to a Guest Room Asset.
Communication: Engineers and Housekeeping team members can communicate through Work Notes for work identified by Housekeeping.
Notification: Engineers receive notifications when work submitted by Housekeeping renders a room Non-Rentable.

Integration Field Mapping: Housekeeping Tickets to Engineering Work Orders:

1. Service Issue > Work Order Description: ALICE Tickets' service issues populate the 'Description' of the Work Order in Transcendent.
2. Ticket Status <> Work Status: Both systems share the same five possible statuses, allowing direct matching.
3. Due Date > Due Date: The due date is transferred seamlessly.
4. Created By > Requested By: The requester's information is retained.
5. Location > Location: Locations not present in Transcendent Engineering are created through the integration.
6. Internal Notes <> Work Notes: Internal notes from ALICE correspond to Work Notes.
7. Photo > Photo: Photos associated with the work are carried over.
8. Assigned To <> Assigned To: Users assigned in ALICE must be created in Transcendent through the integration for this feature to work.

New Features:

Mobile App:

The mobile app is designed for Engineers on the go and offers features for both Work List and Work Order Details.

Tag Icon: Identifies the presence of a tag on the Work Order, providing metadata information.
Room Status: Displays active Housekeeping and Front Office Statuses for Guest Rooms associated with the Work Order in real-time.

New Features:

Angular Work List:

The Work List is the primary page for hotel leadership to review assigned Engineering department work. Two new concepts have been introduced:

Tags Column: Indicates the presence of data tags on a Work Order, offering additional metadata.
Priority Tag: Highlights Work Orders with a priority tag (e.g., Non-Rentable Room).

New Features: Angular Work Order Details:
The detailed view of a Work Order presents seven new features:

1. Tag Section: Displays all tags applied to the Work Order.
2. Due Date Mapping: The due date from Housekeeping corresponds to the Engineer's due date.
3. Requestor Name: Provides the name of the ALICE Housekeeper as the 'Requestor Name' in Transcendent.
4. Location Mapping: Locations in Housekeeping and Engineering map one-to-one.
5. Status Display: Room and Front Office Statuses are visible under Asset Information.
6. Last Updated Dates: Show when the last change occurred for status updates.
7. Work Notes Visibility: Both Engineering's Work Notes and Housekeeping's Internal Notes are visible to relevant parties.

 

Activity History: The Activity History section allows the review of all new activities in the integration.

The Legacy Work List serves as a review page for hotel leadership to assess assigned Engineering work. It includes two new features:
