Use the Labor Forecasting page to compare estimated work times against actual completed work times. This allows you to drill down into specific tasks to visualize labor allocation and future resource needs.
Prerequisites:
• Work orders must have "Estimated Time" populated to appear in the forecast.
The Steps:
1. Navigate to Reports or search for Labor Forecasting in the menu.
2. Select the Year you wish to analyze (supports up to 3 years prior and 1 year ahead).
3. Review the Hours display:
◦ Actual Hours: Calculated from the "Calculated Work Time" on completed work orders.
◦ Estimated Hours: Derived from the estimated time on the work order (or the sum of inspection question times if WO time is missing).
4. Click on a specific Month bar to drill down into the data.
5. View the breakdown by Work Type or Task to identify which activities are consuming the most labor.
The Result: A visual comparison of scheduled labor vs. actual labor, helping identify staffing gaps or efficiency opportunities.
