Term	Definition
Document	An electronic record that houses file attachments and metadata. Used to replace physical files.
Document Type	The specific classification of the file (e.g., Invoice, Contract, Media, Manual). Defined in the Tree Directory,.
Linked Asset	An asset associated with a document. Linking allows the document to appear on the mobile device when that asset is scanned.
Expiration Date	The date the document (such as a permit or insurance policy) becomes invalid. Can trigger an automatic work order.
Folder Permissions	Security settings applied to specific folders in the tree to hide sensitive documents from unauthorized roles.
Inactive Documents	Documents that have been flagged as no longer in use. These can be reviewed via the "Inactive Documents" report.
