Configuration & Setup Guide
This section outlines system configuration dependencies required for Project Completion Management features to operate as intended.
Disposition Types Configuration
To ensure functionality, forms must map precisely inside the Code Table Master under the group identifier dispositionTypes.
Critical Risk: If this code group is empty or missing, action buttons within the line item grid will default to a disabled gray state, entirely preventing users from finishing dispositions.
Navigate to System Configuration $\rightarrow$ Code Table Master $\rightarrow$ group dispositionTypes and verify the following exact values:
| Code ID | Description | Extended Value (Modal Mapping) |
|---|---|---|
complete | Complete |
|
retire | Retire |
|
repair | Repair |
|
refurbish-renovate | Refurbish / Renovate |
|
replace | Replace |
|
2. Guestroom Expenditure Configuration (Bulk Actions)
To authorize specific items for bulk refurbishment processing, you must register their precise expenditure descriptions within the Code Table Master under the group identifier RefurbishRenovateExpTypes.
Logic Rule: The Code ID of each entry within this group must map exactly to the description of the allowed expenditure type.
If a user selects items whose types are missing from this group, the bulk interface will block execution and display: "Only guestrooms can be completed in bulk."
3. User Permissions & Security
Table Access Rights: Users require explicit Edit table rights applied to the
Expenditure Project Detailtable.Without this setting, users can access and view the page layout but will be unable to successfully execute or save any disposition forms. Manage these privileges via role configuration within System Configuration.
4. Visibility & Currency Context
Site Context: The project directory uses the user's active site filter. Switching visibility contexts triggers an immediate automated refresh of the project card list.
Currency Profile Mapping: Ensure users have their preferred currency code established inside their personal User Profile. The disposition forms read this property directly to display localized labels (e.g.,
Cost (EUR)).
5. Checklist for Initial Feature Setup
Before rolling out the feature, ensure you complete the following steps:
[ ] Confirm group
dispositionTypesis active in Code Table Master with all 5 standard entries.[ ] Confirm group
RefurbishRenovateExpTypescontains all eligible guestroom expenditure descriptions.[ ] Grant target user security roles Edit rights on the
Expenditure Project Detailtable.[ ] Verify that operational expenditure projects have explicit disposition types mapped at the planning level.
[ ] Confirm at least one project has passed approval, possesses an end date, and holds active items to populate the workspace.
